UTP Group has been recognized for making a positive impact to the environment and community in line with the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) of the United Nations.
Mr. Sumit Ghoshal receives the CEOforLIFE Awards, a global awards organized in collaboration with Etihad Credit Insurance (ECI) at Sustainability Pavillion Expo 2020 Dubai. This award highlights the achievements and initiatives we have established to improve the quality of life in a sustainable manner. UTP Group has been recognized for making a positive impact to the environment and community in line with the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) of the United Nations.
The key strategic priorities, Sustainable Operations, Technology to Thrive & People & Well being, has helped get UTPs efforts aligned by the SDGs; including gender equality, reduction in carbon emissions (3905 CO₂ MT/year), supporting workforce through the pandemic (0 Exits) & Product Innovation. Also, their circular economy and green steel purchase initiatives to source raw materials from responsible partners has helped them consciously build a more sustainable business.
